ChatGPT Prompts Queue — Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the ChatGPT Prompts Queue Chrome Extension (the "Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension and remove it from your browser immediately.

2. Description of Service

ChatGPT Prompts Queue is a Chrome extension that provides queue management and organizational tools for users of ChatGPT. The Extension allows users to create, organize, save, and execute prompts in an efficient workflow-oriented interface. All data is stored locally in the user's browser, and the Extension operates as a client-side tool that enhances the ChatGPT user experience.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Extension. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Extension you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and have the legal right to use ChatGPT in accordance with OpenAI's terms.

4. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for personal or business purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

5. Restrictions and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Extension for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, or create derivative works of the Extension.
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, rent, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Extension or any part of it without express written permission.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices contained in the Extension.
  • Use the Extension to violate OpenAI's Terms of Use, ChatGPT's usage policies, or any other applicable third-party terms.
  • Use the Extension to automate abuse, spam, or excessive requests that could harm ChatGPT's service or violate rate limits.
  • Attempt to circumvent any technical limitations, security measures, or usage restrictions in the Extension or ChatGPT.
  • Use the Extension to generate, store, or transmit illegal, harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content.

6. User Content and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the prompts you create, the content you generate using ChatGPT, and how you use the Extension's features. We do not control, monitor, or have access to your prompts or ChatGPT responses. You must comply with OpenAI's usage policies and applicable laws when creating prompts and using ChatGPT. The Extension is a tool for organization and workflow management; responsibility for content and usage remains entirely with you.

7. Relationship with ChatGPT/OpenAI

This Extension is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI. Your use of ChatGPT through this Extension is governed by OpenAI's Terms of Use and Usage Policies. We are not responsible for:

  • ChatGPT's availability, performance, or functionality
  • OpenAI's terms, policies, pricing changes, or service modifications
  • Any actions taken by OpenAI regarding your account or usage
  • The accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of ChatGPT's responses

8. Local Data Storage

All Extension data (prompts, templates, settings, response history) is stored locally in your browser. We do not have access to this data. You are responsible for:

  • Backing up important data if desired
  • Understanding that uninstalling the Extension will delete local data
  • Managing your own data security and privacy practices
  • Being aware that browser issues or data corruption may result in data loss

9. Service Updates and Modifications

We may update, enhance, or modify the Extension at any time without notice. Updates may change features, add or remove functionality, or modify the user interface. We may also modify these Terms. Changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms with a new Effective Date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it from your browser. We reserve the right to discontinue development or support of the Extension at any time without liability to you.

11. No Warranty

The Extension is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

  • The Extension will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted
  • The Extension will remain compatible with ChatGPT or future browser versions
  • Your data will be preserved or recoverable
  • The Extension will meet your specific needs or expectations

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability to you for any damages arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Extension shall not exceed $10 USD. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, prompts, or response history
  • Loss of productivity or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or compatibility issues
  • Damages arising from your use of ChatGPT or OpenAI's actions
  • Damages from bugs, errors, or Extension malfunctions

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your use of the Extension or ChatGPT
  • Your violation of any law, regulation, or third-party rights
  • Content you create, store, or transmit using the Extension
  • Your violation of OpenAI's terms or policies

14. Open Source and Third-Party Code

The Extension may incorporate or be based on open source software. Any such software is used in accordance with its respective license terms. Nothing in these Terms restricts your rights under applicable open source licenses.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation first, followed by binding arbitration or appropriate court jurisdiction as required by law.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Extension and supersede all prior agreements, communications, or understandings.

18. No Agency

Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or franchise relationship between you and us.
